Offerings given during worship in August will support the The Patuxent Riverkeeper, whose mission is to conserve, protect and replenish Maryland’s longest and deepest intrastate waterway through strategic advocacy, restoration and education.  The group also offers programs and opportunities to get involved in stewardship of the Patuxent, from volunteering to political action, to exploring and enjoying time on the river. Make checks payable to the “Davies UU Congregation” and be sure to put “special offering” in the memo line before you drop your donation in the offering basket on Sunday.
