A Dialogue on Race and Ethinicty (ADORE)

January 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The article, How to Discover Your True Identity And Uphold Your True Self-Worth, by Tony Fahkry,  will guide our ADORE (A Dialogue Race and Ethnicity) discussion on Friday, January 10, 7-8:30pm.

As we enter a new year anticipating challenges, seeking to stabilize ourselves, let us look to understand our own identities.  Let's talk about who we are, what we value, and our own identities. We remember that one of the beliefs that gave birth to our Unitarian Universalist faith was the belief that human beings are authors of their own stories and not passive characters in them.

Davies works diligently at dismantling racism and other oppressions, in line with its value of equity, as we believe every person is inherently worthy and has the right to flourish with dignity, love, and compassion. ADORE is central to that work.
