ADORE (A Dialogue on Race and Ethnicity) In this forum, we explore our feelings on racial and ethnic issues to learn more about ourselves and about people who may have different feelings. During an Open Discussion Period, participants are encouraged to discuss current events or personal interactions that prompted them to reflect on their own racial identity.

For this month’s gathering, you are invited to read the article “The Intersectionality Wars” before arrival and consider the following question:

• Do you believe that White Supremacy is a collection of implicit biases?

ADORE can be an opportunity to include our wider community in Davies’ Social Justice mission and to reintroduce Davies into our wider community.  We encourage you to use this EVENTBRITE link to invite individuals who could help to elevate and advance our common understanding. This is for people who don’t attend DUUC or follow our Facebook Page and would otherwise not see any written invitation to attend.

An optional potluck meal begins at 6:30, with discussion beginning at 7pm.
