ADORE – A Dialogue on Race and Ethnicity
December 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The essay, Love is at the Center, a reflection by Rev. Mykal Slack, will guide our ADORE (A Dialogue Race and Ethnicity) discussion next Friday, December 13, 7-8:30pm. We’ll consider hope, love and risk as we recover, post election, with diversity, equity and inclusion being a bit bruised. Please join us as we examine reflections from the leader of BLUU as we navigate our own healing. The essay is taken from the UUA ebook, Love at the Center. We will read it together when we gather.
Davies works diligently at dismantling racism and other oppressions, in line with its value of equity, as we believe every person is inherently worthy and has the right to flourish with dignity, love, and compassion. ADORE is central to that work.
