This Sunday, Pastor Norman Allen will explore the Second Source of our faith movement which lifts up the “words and deeds of prophetic women and men which challenge us to confront powers and structures of evil with justice, compassion, and the transforming power of love.” This Sunday we focus on the women, exploring the lives of Margaret Fuller, who served as an arts editor and war correspondent in the early 1800s, and Frances Harper, an African American abolitionist and poet who fought for women’s rights until her death in 1911.
