Guest preacher Ariane Swann Odom offers a brief history of her tribe – the Piscataway Conoy – and shares information on where and how they live now. Included will be insights on communities and neighborhoods during and after segregation, the implications of not receiving Federal Recognition, the tribe’s educational history, and the vital importance of scholarships. This worship service launches a month in which all Offerings will help fund those scholarships, and a year in which we dedicate ourselves to greater awareness and greater service.
