Join a frank discussion on the shift among non-white voters, how faith communities can organize for social justice under the Trump administration and more when Hahrie Han, Ph.D, discusses her recent book, Undivided, Thoughts about Faith, Race, and Politics After the Election. The gathering is sponsored by UU’s for Social Justice. A political scientist, Dr. Han speaks extensively on the way some grassroots organizations translate the engagement of their people into political power. She also explores how people become motivated to participate in politics, looking particularly at the means of engaging underprivileged populations in political action.
