Join us for the renowned Davies Concert Series in its 48th year of presenting acclaimed musical artists in Prince George’s County. All performances are held in the fully accessible Davies sanctuary and are followed by an artist’s reception.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for those 18 and younger. Season tickets are $60 for all five concerts. You can make your purchase at the door, or watch for news of online opportunities coming soon!

The series kicks off with a free Poetry, Dance, and Music event, featuring members of the Davies community and opportunities for audience participation.

A special fundraising event for the Oxon Hill Food Pantry features Jasmin Lee and the Vocal Quartet. The program is free and open to the public, and donations to the food pantry are encouraged. The program will include traditional songs as well as classical to romantic solos and ensemble selections.

The District 5 Woodwind Quintet offers “Quirks and Kinks,” an afternoon of delightful works with a few quirks. The program includes repertoire by Aho, Lindveit, Hensel, and local Washington composer Jessica Krash.

Award winning pianist Brian Ganz plays a program that explores and reveals connections of various kinds, beginning with the Preludes and Fugues from the Well-Tempered Clavier by J. S. Bach and several Preludes by Frederic Chopin that were inspired by the Bach works.

The Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA), directed by Terri Allen, presents Our Voice: Black Composers and The Vote Concert. Historical voting rights events are expressed through music of the era, highlighting how songs were heard during significant moments in voting rights history and featuring the music of Black composers. Repertoire includes selections by George Augustus Bridgewater, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Florence B. Price, and William Grant Still. The CAAPA Chamber Ensemble will feature pianist Joshua Jenkins and a soloist from the Washington National Opera.

The Washington Revels Gallery Voices, directed by Elizabeth Fulford, is a select group of vocalists performing a tapestry of styles drawn from Medieval and Renaissance music, early American hymns and folk songs, 19th- and 20th-century part-songs, and more. The Voices have appeared at venues throughout the DC area, including the National Arboretum, the Harman Center for the Arts, Glen Echo Park, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and Washington National Cathedral. They can be heard on the Washington Revels recordings Hard Times Come Again No More (2011) and Sing & Rejoice (2013).

National Symphony musicians are featured in the Beau Soir Ensemble, a trio of flute, viola and harp. The program includes music by Beethoven to celebrate his birth 250 years ago, a local premiere of “Submerged” by award winning composer Miguel del Aguila, works by J.S. Bach and Debussy, as well as some Irish delights.
All concerts are preceded by brief performances by student artists, and are held at Davies Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 7400 Temple Hill Road, Camp Springs, MD.
