Building Your Own Theology

Nine 90-minute sessions through March 16 Sundays at noon. Child care will be available as needed. This class is free.

Please sign up by contacting Pete Fontneau, Director of Religious Education or sign up on a sheet in the lounge. Newcomers are encouraged to attend. Group interaction is important to making this program a success, so please invite your friends and family or pass the word via social media.

You are invited to write your own spiritual odyssey and examine a structure for a theological model, varieties of religious experience, human nature, ultimate reality, history, ethics, and religious meaning.

Goals for Participants

  • To determine their values and beliefs about God or ultimate reality, human nature, ethics, and the meaning and purpose of life
  • To discover what others believe about the great religious questions
  • To articulate their beliefs in credo statements
  • To meet the challenge of building their own theology.
