Join us for a screening and discussion of this powerful film featuring James Baldwin and offering a journey into black history that connects the Civil Rights movement to #Black Lives Matter. Presented by the 8th Principle Task Force, the film and conversation will explore that link between the United States’ history and its present situation.

The event is just one element in the Task Force’s efforts to offer the congregation a deeper understanding of the proposed 8th Principle which, if adopted, calls us to journey “toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.”
