We are amid a perfect storm of socio-economic oppression exacerbated by the life-threatening pandemic. Join us as we reflect on “The Great Resignation” and its ramifications on both our spirts and the desires of our hearts. As priorities change and the future appears uncertain, we will explore what it means to open our divine-given gifts and answer The Call to live into our Calling.

Guest Preacher Ebony C. Peace is a spiritual entrepreneur with two ministries: Sunstone Chapel and Innovative Spirit. She is a life-long Unitarian Universalist from Silver Spring, Maryland. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Sweet Briar College and a M.S. in Strategic Human Resources and Organization Development from Johns Hopkins University. She will earn a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies (MALS) in 2022 from Meadville Lombard Theological School. She is currently completing an internship at All Souls Unitarian in Washington DC as part of her seminary studies where she is focusing on adult spiritual development, social justice, and worship arts. She has a professional background as an applied sociologist practicing in human resources, coaching, and facilitation. Ebony is a former Adjunct Instructor, teaching college and graduate courses for more than five years in Business and General Education. In her spare time, she enjoys writing poetry and stories. Her poems have been published in the 2021 inSpirit anthology, “Shelter in this Place,” and in “BLUU Notes: An Anthology of Love, Justice, and Liberation” by Skinner House Books.
