The 2018  Davies Concert Series will kick off with the Trio Artemesia featuring Alan Tilley, violin; Molly Jones, cello and Andrew Welch, piano.
The group will perform romantic and contemporary works including Dvorak’s famous “Dumky” E minor piano trio.

Formed at the University of Maryland in the spring of 2015, Trio Artemesia has delighted
Washington-area audiences with their artistic, detailed playing and their clever and thoughtful
programming. Comprised of Alan Tilley (violin), Molly Jones (cello), and Andrew Welch
(piano), the group has performed several recitals at UMD in addition to performances off campus
at National Park Seminary, the Columbia Heights Concerts series, Dumbarton United Methodist
Church, and the Friday Morning Music Club.

Davies Concert Series, a tax-exempt 501(c) (3) charitable trust, committed to presenting
classical music concerts, offering educational opportunities for young audiences, and
providing a venue for new American music.

Admission: Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for 0 – 18 year olds.
