“Living a Conservation Ethic in a Throw-away World” by Mike Walker

July 13, 2014 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

The service will be done in costume, in character (as Aldo Leopold), addressing a class of his students. General and specific suggestions will be offered for thinking about the big picture (climate change-species decline) with suggestions for immediate actions that can be taken: water conservation; maintenance of old trees and brush for wildlife, reducing chemical pesticides, mono-cultures of trees and lawns, etc.

Children will join us for the first part of the service followed by religious education classes. Nursery care is available free at 10:30.
