This Sunday is our first trial “hybrid” service offered both online and onsite! Join us as we navigate these new waters AND celebrate educator Rev. Joseph Jordan (1842-1901), the first African American to be ordained by the Universalist General Convention. In founding the First Universalist Church of Norfolk, Rev. Jordan simultaneously launched a day school for African American children. Spending weekdays in the classroom and Sundays preaching from a pulpit he built himself, Rev. Jordan spread the loving message of Universalism through word and deed. We’ll see you in the Sanctuary or online HERE.
